A Detroit Michigan native, Linda prepared at Wayne State University to teach music and performance in the Detroit public schools. After college, however, she moved to the Pacific Northwest and spent eleven years as a Christian song writer and recording artist, three more as a junior high school teacher, and over twenty years working, teaching, and coaching in the field of retail - eleven of which were in human resources and people-development.
After 14 years, she retired her teaching position with the University of Washington’s Human Resource and Adult Learning and Development certificate programs, from which she was a recipient of their Teaching Excellence Award in business and management. Her trademark has always been her colorful inclusive style, out-of-the-box creativity, limitless energy, and spontaneous humor.
