the Divisional Vice President of Training and Diversity for the Bon Marché in Seattle Washington (now Macys),
and a past Sr. Consultant and Partner with the Effectiveness Institute in Redmond Washington, Linda Callecod has over 25 years
experience as a successful leader, teacher, motivator, and master trainer / facilitator with a passion for creating
high performance teams, training other trainers, and developing leaders at all levels of an organization.
Linda has a solid background in corporate learning & development, performance
enhancements and process improvements, with proven expertise in multiple project management, program implementation and
curriculum development for companies in diverse industry niches.
Her trademark is her colorful inclusive style, out-of-the-box creativity,
limitless energy, and spontaneous humor.
A Detroit Michigan native, Linda prepared at Wayne State University to teach music and performance in the Detroit
public schools. After college, however, she moved to the Pacific Northwest and spent eleven years as a Christian song writer
and recording artist, two more as a junior high school teacher, and over twenty years working, teaching, and coaching in the
field of retail - eleven of which were in human resources and people-development.
14 years, she retired her teaching position for the University of Washington’s Human Resource and Adult Learning
and Development certificate programs, from which she was a recipient of their Teaching Excellence Award in business and
management. In addition to operating Seraphim Consulting, Linda also serves as Senior Organizational Development Consultant
for UW's Professional & Organizational Development department.
Ms. Callecod is author of More Than Just a Feeling, Tools of the Trade:
A Practical Guide for Trainers, Presenting with Distinction and Excellence, plus workbooks, materials,
and assessments included in the Curriculum Development Tool Kit and the Training and Development Tool Kit.
